Hotel Halifax is rebranding to Delta Hotels by Marriott in 2025, and we need a Sales Manager – Corporate Market to drive demand from key clients and anchor our reputation as Halifax’s go-to for business travel. Set in the heart of downtown Halifax, our historic and iconic hotel is charting a bold new course with a transformative renovation in 2025—blending timeless character with modern sophistication.

What You’ll Do 

Hunt & Close: Prospect and secure corporate accounts (extended stay, government, marine/defense) with tailored pitches. 

Event Hustle: Rep for the hotel at trade shows, blitzes, and networking events—your charm is our secret weapon. 

Data-Driven Strategy: Use market trends (hello, cruise season!) to outmaneuver competitors and boost RevPAR. 

Marriott Mastery: Leverage Delta brand tools while injecting local Halifax flair into every deal. 

Forecast Like a Pro: Predict group revenue and room demand with precision. 

How You Excel  

A Sales Shark: 2–3 years of hotel sales experience (corporate market chops preferred). 

Negotiation Ninja: You know how to structure win-win contracts under brand/legal guidelines. 

Halifax Whisperer: Deep knowledge of who’s traveling here (gov’t contractors, academics, etc.) and how to woo them. 

Tech-Savvy: Opera S&C, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office are your sidekicks. 

Adaptable Hustle: Thrives in fast-paced environments (especially during rebrand transitions!).
