Delta Hotels by Marriott Halifax Downtown (formerly Hotel Halifax) is in the midst of an exciting transformation – and we’re looking for a Group Housing Coordinator to help us deliver seamless group stays from booking to check-out.
In this role, you’ll be the bridge between our sales team, operations, and our guests -coordinating room blocks, managing reservations, and ensuring every group feels welcomed, valued, and well cared for.

What You’ll Do
Process group reservations, changes, and cancellations with speed and accuracy.
Manage room blocks, rooming lists, and group billing setup (master accounts, etc.).
Prepare contracts, invoices, and guest communications – always professional, always on time.
Partner with Front Office, Revenue Management, F&B, and Banquets to ensure every group detail is executed flawlessly.
Meet with group convenors on arrival to confirm arrangements and ensure a seamless experience.
Identify upsell opportunities to enhance guest stays and drive revenue.
Support sales initiatives – cold calls, blitzes, trade shows – and provide coverage for Event Coordinators when needed.
Maintain organized files and uphold PCI compliance and safety standards.
Track post-stay feedback and help us continuously raise the bar.
How You Excel
A diploma or degree in Hospitality, Business, or Sales- or equivalent experience.
1–2 years in hospitality coordination, reservations, or group servicing.
Strong Microsoft 365 skills; experience with LightSpeed, Salesforce, or similar is a plus.
Sharp organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities with a smile.
A professional, proactive attitude and genuine love for helping others.
ProServe certification required.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as group activity demands.
