Hotel Halifax is re-branding to Delta Hotels by Marriott in 2025, and we need a dynamic Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping team through this exciting transition! You’ll lead our housekeeping and janitorial operations, ensuring sparkling clean spaces, managing schedules and staffing like a pro, and creating a safe and welcoming environment for everyone to enjoy!

What You’ll Do 

Guest-Centric Culture: Foster a service-driven environment where team members engage guests at every touchpoint, consistently going above and beyond to anticipate and exceed expectations. 

Lead & Inspire: Direct a high-performing housekeeping team, ensuring flawless execution of hotel cleanliness standards through training, coaching, and motivation. 

Optimize Operations: Manage schedules, room availability, and staffing to adapt to occupancy demands while maintaining efficiency. 

Drive Guest Satisfaction: Implement rigorous cleaning and inspection programs, address feedback proactively, and turn challenges into wins. 

Resource & Budget Mastery: Oversee inventory, purchasing, and cost control for supplies and equipment while staying within budget. 

Innovate & Improve: Leverage technology and sustainable practices to enhance efficiency and elevate service standards. 

Safety & Compliance: Ensure a safe, healthy workplace by enforcing protocols and promptly addressing maintenance or security concerns. 

Strategic Leadership: Develop action plans, set goals, and lead renovation or special projects to exceed departmental targets. 

Team Excellence: Conduct performance reviews, foster associate growth, and maintain a motivated, productive team. 

How You Excel  

Education & Credentials: High school diploma (Hospitality Management diploma a plus). Brand experience in hospitality preferred. 

Proven Leadership: 3-5 years of housekeeping experience with a track record of leading teams to exceptional standards in hospitality. 

Tech-Savvy & Organized: Proficient in MS Office and property management systems, with sharp organizational and problem-solving skills. 

Detail-Oriented Perfectionist: Meticulous, thorough, and committed to delivering consistent, high-quality results. 

Dynamic Communicator: Strong supervisory skills with the ability to delegate, motivate, and resolve issues efficiently. 

Independent & Driven: Self-motivated with the ability to lead projects and teams with minimal supervision.
