The awards recognized individuals and hotels for outstanding achievement in leadership, culture, sales & marketing and guest services.

Hotel des Seigneurs Saint-Hyacinthe was presented with a special honour at the ceremony, receiving the President’s Award for Outstanding Effort, exemplifying SilverBirch Hotels & Resorts’ values. The award recognizes the hotel team’s collaborative efforts to deliver quality customer service. The hotel has excelled in guest services and product performance in the past year.
The Hotel of the Year Award was presented to the Radisson Hotel Saskatoon. The hotel and its employees demonstrated continuous growth in customer loyalty and satisfaction as a result of their passion for service excellence and commitment to provide guest services that goes beyond expectations.
The Radisson Hotel and Conference Centre Canmore received the Cultural Spirit Award for embodying the spirit of hospitality through strong team work and high morale. Radisson Hotel and Conference Centre Canmore strongly believes that a collaborative work culture with open communications is the key to encourage employees to deliver exceptional customer service and guest experiences.
The Ramada Hotel and Conference Centre Edmonton was honoured with the Revenue Generation Team of the Year Award, and Lisa Drent, their Director of Rooms, was chosen to receive the Leader of the Year Award. The Ramada hotel team demonstrated effective collaboration in managing the full customer life cycle and executed innovative sales, marketing and public relations initiatives that resulted in exceeding their revenue goals. Lisa Drent received the Leader of the Year award for her outstanding contributions to the success of the team and for inspiring others to continue to deliver extraordinary guest experiences.
SilverBirch also recognized Arnulfo Panit, Houseperson/Shuttle Driver, from the TownePlace Suites Mississauga-Airport Corporate Centre with the Associate of the Year Award. Arnulfo’s consistency in providing exceptional customer service exemplifies the attitude and dedication to serve guests.
