REGINA, SK, November 6, 2013 – On Tuesday morning, DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel and Conference Centre Regina officially opened its doors to guests and the first two through were Rick Swanson and David Adler. The two business travellers from Miami, Florida, were the first guests to check in at the fully renovated and refurbished Regina landmark.
Mr. Swanson and Mr. Adler were greeted at the hotel’s front desk by Michael Wurster, General Manager of DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel and Conference Centre Regina. Both travellers were greeted with a handshake, one of DoubleTree by Hilton’s signature chocolate chip cookies and 50,000 Hilton HHonors points, which can be used to redeem hotel stays around the world.
“It’s been an exciting year working towards the opening of this hotel,” said Wurster. “Seeing our first two guests walk through the door and checking them in means we’re open for business. We’re excited to offer Mr. Swanson and Mr. Adler, and all our future guests the DoubleTree by Hilton experience.”
