Our Union requires the use of hotels to hold our meetings and conferences. We have chosen the Hampton Inn by Hilton™ Halifax-Downtown many times for our meetings and to date, we can say without a doubt that they consistently meet all of our needs and gone above and beyond. The workers have been more than accommodating to our requests, making the arrangements has been seamless and the hotel itself is a wonderful building with a perfect location for accessing restaurants and other needs. The hotel offers meal packages through the conference arrangements and we have been amazed at how wonderful the food is. The Connections Café® set up for our break times is the best set up I have had at any hotel. Having coffee, snacks, and drinks available all day is so much easier than making arrangements for set breaks. It is clear that the Hampton Inn in Halifax has captured all the needs required to host a successful meeting. We look forward to holding many more of our events at this hotel.

I’ve stayed at the Hampton Inn by Hilton™ Halifax-Downtown for a business conference as well as for a personal stay. Both were excellent experiences. Rooms were of reasonable rates, clean and hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating! The hot buffet breakfast had a great selection of items and coffee was always fresh and hot! Specific to the conference and the use of SilverBirch Conference Centre®, the rooms are equipped with excellent and easy to use equipment… (Even I could figure it out!) and the Connections Café® was excellent! It reminded me of staying at our own BMO Institute for Learning.
