over 20 hotels and resorts across Canada. We manage independent hotels and hotels operating under
major franchise brands, such as Marriott, Hilton, Radisson, Quality, Best Western and Ramada.

We are looking for a Night Auditor at the Radisson Hotel Calgary Airport in Calgary, AB.

The Night Auditor is responsible for the nightly functions which support the hotel operation by determining
the daily income of the property and verifying that all customer accounts are correct and balanced. Also,
the candidate is responsible for providing customer service to both internal and external customers.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Verifies and balances daily charges for all departments to customer folios, master accounts and house accounts; makes corrections as necessary ensuring all required documentation is obtained
  • Provides value added service to customers by doing whatever reasonable and possible to meet and exceed customer expectations
  • Balances the rooms audit with the night clerk’s summary
  • Communicates effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
  • Runs computer through nightly processing sequence to reset for next day’s use in balancing of applicable functions
  •  Audits food & beverage income postings and charges
  • Handles all guest situations in the absence of management
  • Records and balances all food and beverage income
  • Balances the guest ledger postings to the restaurant audit guest ledger
  • Records and balances staff and house charges
  • Audits all banquet tickets before postings, verifying the accuracy of the calculations and attaching the latest
  • Reviews all credit card vouchers for proper imprints, authorizations and correct amounts
  • Prepares and transmits credit card deposits
  • Processes all city ledger work to accounting
  • Exceeds customer and associate service expectations by providing added value to the hotel team and by doing whatever is reasonable and possible to meet their expectations
  • Works as part of the overall team to ensure the hotels effective and profitable operation
  • Works towards win-win solutions for all internal and external customer issues
  • Assures full security for customers, hotel personnel and property by working closely with Hotel Security


Preferred Education & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year accounting experience
  • Hospitality experience – Front Office preferred
  • Strong leadership ability with supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong guest relations experience with the ability to handle guest situations
  • Knowledge of Opera, Micros and Delphi an asset Flexible, positive and energetic with the ability to work under pressure
  • Very detailed orientated and is careful and logical with a concern for accuracy
  • Strong data entry, analytical and communication skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, network systems and accounting software
  • Ability to prioritize and to meet all deadlines
  • Has an understanding of excellent customer service and is able to implement it on a day to day basis
  • Ability to work independently – great initiative and working with a team
