SilverBirch Hotels & Resorts is one of Canada’s leading hotel management companies and manages over 20 hotels and resorts across Canada. We manage independent hotels and hotels operating under major franchise brands, such as Marriott, Hilton, Radisson, Quality, Best Western and Ramada.


We are looking for a Food & Beverage Outlets Manager at the Lethbridge Lodge Hotel & Conference Centre.

The Outlets Manager is responsible for the management of a full-service Restaurant, In Room Dining Sunday Brunch and Lounge. The Food & Beverage Division department’s objective is to achieve revenue, profit and customer satisfactions goals.

Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Directs, supervises and develops the outlets’ team members.
  • Maintains effective employee relations by conducting regular team meetings focusing on the goals of the hotel.
  • Recruits, trains, and evaluates all employees to ensure a high standard of service.
  • Develops and executes corporate and in-house promotions as related to Food & Beverage.
  • Achieves budget forecasts, revenue and profit goals.
  • Ensures Food and Beverage cost controls are in place and followed.
  • Maximizes productivity through proper budgeting, scheduling and cost control.
  • Ensures that all restaurant associates have obtained legislated training.
  • Ensures month end procedures are completed, including inventories, costing and analysis.
  • Programs and maintains Micros point of sale system.
  • Ensures superior cleanliness and quality for the outlets
  • Other related duties as assigned


Preferred Education & Qualifications:

  • A certificate/diploma in Hospitality Management is considered an asset.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience as a manager in a high volume food and beverage operation.
  • Demonstrates strong leadership, team building and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record in revenue growth, promotions and training.
  • Excellent guest, customer and employee relations skills.
  • Previous budget and forecasting experience.
  • Organized, detail-oriented and takes initiative.
  • Able to work a variety of shifts including evenings, holidays and weekends.
  • Experience in Micros programming is a strong asset.
  • ProServe Certification.
  • ProTect Certification
