We are looking for a Box Office Assistant Manager at DoubleTree by Hilton™ West Edmonton.

Reporting to the Box Office Manager, the Assistant Box Office Manager oversees Dinner Theatre ticket sales and ensures quality service to customers by employing exceptional leadership skills and providing an engaging work environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Take initiative to meet or exceed customer’s expectations by ensuring department provides superior service
• Follow up on customer feedback in a timely manner
• Utilize leadership skills and motivation techniques in order to maximize employee productivity and satisfaction
• Coach and performance manage Box Office team to provide superior service
• Assist with recruitment and selection, orientation and training of new associates
• Monitor, determine, and communicate achievement of standards of performance on a timely basis
• Assist with set up and organization of annual season ticket renewals
• Present new ideas as well as test and monitor new procedures and policies for box office
• Assist with computer file expansion and maintenance and integration of computer software program updates and hardware updates
• Responsible for liaison between Box Office Manager and the Box Office team and maintain communication of information with all departments
• Maintain a well-organized environment while utilizing exceptional organizational and coordinating skills
• Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position
• Set goals and standards while finding solutions that are beneficial to guests and associates while meeting deadlines that are decisive and achievement oriented

Preferred Education & Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years previous supervisory experience is a requirement
• Hospitality experience is preferred
• Previous customer service experience an asset
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office programs are required
• Knowledge of ticketing programs would be an asset
• Energetic, flexible, and able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Previous customer service experience an asset
• Self-motivated, creative, capable of working in a team environment
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
